Register for AOC’s Scholarship Bird-a-Thon!
The Audubon Outdoor Club is hosting a birding/fundraising competition benefiting the Dr. Howard & Beth Hoekje Conservation Scholarship. We hope you will participate!
Birders will compete as teams of up to four people, or as individuals, to count as many bird species as they can in 24 hours and raise funds for the scholarship. Each individual or team will solicit sponsor pledges and/or donations for each species counted. Friends, family, co-workers and members of other organizatons you belong to are potential sponsors.
Pledge collection instructions will be sent out to registered counters after the registration period closes. All donors will be entered into a prize drawing! Teams and individuals will be recognized at the June 11, 2024 Potluck for most species seen and most funds raised.
Geographic Limits: Nueces, San Patricio, Jim Wells, Kleberg and Aransas Counties
Birdathon Birding Period: April 15th - May 30. Submit a 24 hour trip report by May 31, 2024.
Registration Closes: April 15, 2024. No Entry Fee!

Join the Audubon Outdoor Club of Corpus Christi in Ecuador!
We will bird Quito before traveling by private yacht to the Galapagos Islands, where we will enjoy the amazing scenery, endemic birds, and snorkeling, and learn about the history and natural science of the islands.
Cost is $6695, not including airfare from the US to Ecuador.
