Cultivating the natural beauty of Corpus Christi through preservation, activism and education
The Audubon Outdoor Club was founded by forward-thinking residents of Corpus Christi in 1957 to guarantee the continued stewardship of the city's unique natural and ecological resources. The AOC focuses on three areas to promote the interests of wildlife both in the present and for the future:
Preserve local land through the purchase and restoration to its native condition and through reintroduction to the community as valuable and rejuvenating greenspaces.
Activate our community in pursuit of policy promoting the intrinsic value of Corpus Christi and the Coastal Bend's native habitat.
Educate citizens on the singularly unique ecology of the Coastal Bend, as well as on the imperatives of sustainability and preservation in all environments.
